Default keyboard controls
Control tips
- Your partner attacks automatically. Your job is to move: stay out of the horde, collect experience and open Poké Balls.
- Q switches between auto aim and manual aim; Right click locks onto one target — handy against guardians.
- T auto-runs forward, useful for crossing a big zone.
- M opens the big map. It shows what you have already seen, plus the guardian altar, the shrine and the portal; you can place up to 3 markers.
- P pauses and shows your full stats and how much damage each move has done.
Rebinding keys
- Open Settings → Keys from the main menu.
- Click the box next to an action, then press a key or mouse button (middle, right or side buttons work).
- Conflicts swap automatically. If another action already uses that key, the two trade places. Arrow keys always move. Reset restores the defaults.
Controller and mobile
PokéBonk supports controllers in runs and in every menu (since v0.5.1), with button prompts for the Ultimate. On phones and tablets it runs in the browser with touch buttons; tap the Ultimate button when it is ready. If your controller keeps moving after a menu, check the dead zone setting in Settings → Controls.
FAQ
How do you jump and glide in PokéBonk?
Press Space to jump. Flying and levitating partners (and some passives) can hold Space to glide, and some can climb walls.
How do I use my Ultimate?
Press R when the Ultimate meter is full, or press Y to turn on Auto Ultimate.
Can I change the keys?
Yes: Settings → Keys. Click a box, then press the key or mouse button you want (middle, right and side buttons work). If another action uses it, they swap. Esc cancels; Reset restores the defaults.
Does PokéBonk support a controller?
Yes. Controller support in runs and all menus arrived in v0.5.1; later patches added more controller settings. Mobile browsers get on-screen touch buttons.
How do I pause or leave fullscreen?
P pauses (the pause key can be changed in Settings). Esc opens the pause menu without leaving fullscreen; hold Esc to exit fullscreen.
