What is PokéBonk?

PokéBonk (also written PokeBonk or Poke Bonk) is a free, unofficial 3D Pokémon survivor game you play in your browser at pokebonk.com. Made by Charcher and inspired by Megabonk, it puts you in Kanto as a partner Pokémon fighting endless waves of wild Pokémon. It is not Pokémon Bank, and not an official Nintendo game.

How PokéBonk plays

You pick a partner — Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle to start — and drop into a 3D region. Your partner attacks on its own; you run, jump, slide and dodge through hordes of wild Pokémon. Every level-up offers three cards (new moves, upgrades or vitamins), you evolve mid-run, and an Ultimate charges as you fight.

Between runs you spend Stardust in the Lab on permanent upgrades, complete challenges to add up to 79 partners to your League, and climb seasonal leaderboards alone or with a clan.

A run in Viridian Forest: Bulbasaur's Ultimate, Furious Roots, against a wave of wild Pokémon.

Not Pokémon Bank, not Megabonk

Search engines sometimes mix PokéBonk up with Pokémon Bank, Nintendo's old 3DS storage service — they are unrelated. Megabonk is the paid indie game that inspired PokéBonk's style; PokéBonk is a separate, free fan project. And this site, PokéBonk Wiki, is an independent guide — the game itself lives only at pokebonk.com.

FAQ

Who made PokéBonk?

PokéBonk is made by Charcher (@ImCharcher), a Spanish-speaking developer, who announced it on X in October 2026. The game credits Megabonk and the survivors-like genre as inspiration.

Is PokéBonk the same as Pokémon Bank?

No. Pokémon Bank is Nintendo's storage app for the 3DS. PokéBonk is a free browser action game; the names only look alike.

Is PokéBonk the same as Megabonk?

No. Megabonk is a separate paid game by vedinad. PokéBonk borrows its idea — a 3D survivors-like with jumping, sliding and vertical maps — and sets it in Kanto with Pokémon.

How do you spell it?

The official name is PokéBonk. You will also see PokeBonk, Pokebonk and Poke Bonk — all the same game.

Is PokéBonk legal and safe?

It is a free, non-profit fan game with no ads, purchases or donations, played in the browser with nothing to download. It is not affiliated with Nintendo or The Pokémon Company. Only play it on pokebonk.com.
