Viridian Forest
The starting region: rolling grass, cliffs and paths, full of Grass, Bug, Normal and Flying Pokémon. Zone 1's guardian is Scyther. Look out for Unown altars — stand inside the circle to charge them; stepping out drains the charge. The guardian's altar, the shrine and the portal always show on the big map (M); hold Tab to see the map without pausing.
Rocky Desert
The second region. It is locked on a new account, and 7 League challenges need it — for example Cubone, Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl.
- Cubone: Defeat 4 guardians of the Rocky Desert.
- Omanyte: Get 50,000 KOs in the Rocky Desert.
- Kabuto: Defeat 8 guardians of the Rocky Desert.
- Aerodactyl: Win the Rocky Desert.
- Zapdos: Win the Rocky Desert.
- Moltres: Defeat Moltres in the Rocky Desert on Hard.
- Mewtwo: Win the Rocky Desert on Hard.
We have not reached Rocky Desert on our test account yet; its zones and guardians will be added once checked.

How many maps does PokéBonk have?
Two playable regions in v0.7.7: Viridian Forest and Rocky Desert. Four more are listed as coming soon: Lavender Tower, Volcano Island, Celestial Glacier and Storm Coast. The developer has said new maps come first in Season 2.
How do I unlock Rocky Desert?
Rocky Desert is locked on a new account; Viridian Forest is the starting region. We have not unlocked it on our test account yet, so we will add the exact requirement once confirmed in-game.
What Pokémon live in Viridian Forest?
The region screen lists Grass, Bug, Normal and Flying types — Caterpie, Weedle, Pidgey, Rattata, Spearow and friends — with Scyther as the Zone 1 guardian.
