How to unlock Magmar
To add it to your League, complete all 2 parts of its challenge (Have 25 members in your League; Burn 6,000 Pokémon in a single run), then weaken and catch it when it appears in your next run.
- Have 25 members in your League.
Goal: 25 - Burn 6,000 Pokémon in a single run.
Goal: 6,000 - Catch it in your next run.
After the challenge is complete, Magmar appears in a run. Weaken it and catch it — it only joins your League once it is caught.
"In a single run" goals must be met in one run; the others add up across all your runs. League-size goals count the partners you have caught.

Magmar's Ultimate
Magmar has a signature Ultimate. Charge it by fighting, then press R to cast it.
Volcano
A volcano erupts beneath your feet: star-shaped magma fissures and a rain of fireballs on the enemies. With Maturity, more fissures and balls and a final eruption that wipes out everything.
Magmar's evolution
It does not evolve during a run.
Base stats
The main-series base stats the game builds Magmar from (total 495). In a run, your HP, armor and damage also depend on level, Lab upgrades, vitamins and your passive.
