How to unlock Sandshrew
To add it to your League, complete its challenge — dodge 120 attacks — then weaken and catch it when it appears in your next run.

Goal: 120 - Catch it in your next run.
After the challenge is complete, Sandshrew appears in a run. Weaken it and catch it — it only joins your League once it is caught.
"In a single run" goals must be met in one run; the others add up across all your runs. League-size goals count the partners you have caught.

Sandshrew has a signature Ultimate that changes as it evolves. Charge it by fighting, then press R to cast it.

You sink underground (invisible) and emerge with a tremor that stuns, four fissures and rock spikes.
Abyssal Fissure
Eight 16 m fissures run across the ground raising rock spikes, and a sandstorm breaks out.
Sandshrew's evolution
It evolves into Sandslash at level 36.
