How to unlock Articuno
To add it to your League, complete all 3 parts of its challenge (Have 45 members in your League; Win Viridian Forest on Hard; Freeze 2,500 Pokémon in a single run), then weaken and catch it when it appears in your next run.

Goal: 45 - Win Viridian Forest on Hard.
Goal: 2 - Freeze 2,500 Pokémon in a single run.
Goal: 2,500 - Catch it in your next run.
After the challenge is complete, Articuno appears in a run. Weaken it and catch it — it only joins your League once it is caught.
"In a single run" goals must be met in one run; the others add up across all your runs. League-size goals count the partners you have caught.
