How to unlock Grimer
To add it to your League, complete its challenge — poison 20,000 pokémon — then weaken and catch it when it appears in your next run.

Goal: 20,000 - Catch it in your next run.
After the challenge is complete, Grimer appears in a run. Weaken it and catch it — it only joins your League once it is caught.
"In a single run" goals must be met in one run; the others add up across all your runs. League-size goals count the partners you have caught.

You melt into a giant 9 m puddle that pulls in, poisons and traps for 2 s, and bursts into mud geysers.

It evolves into Muk at level 45.
